Kasongan is a center for pottery/ceramics biggest in Yogyakarta. In this region the majority of its citizens living as craftsmen pottery/ceramics. There are various kinds of pottery/ceramics are done or made by citizens Kasongan including jars, vases, flower vases, animal sculptures, chandeliers, etc..
That's the tourist village with handicraft products Kasongan pottery/ceramics flagship, the tools are made of clay or loam. Until now, products of pottery/ceramic-made they are still a mainstay of the tourism potential of the province of Yogyakarta.

A great info. I have a dream to visit yogyakarta one day, and go to the other interesting places in there.
Its wonderful place where tourist can get many terracota with various design. We think many of them do export
Kasongan is gerat village that produce export quality teracotta. Its direct production so the price will be cheaper for teracotta
